Seeking UI Engineer for Consumer Finance Start-Up Description: SF Bay Area start-up is seeking a skilled and motivated front-end web developer to join a small team of passionate engineers & product managers. Candidate must have attention to detail and will play a significant role in constructing the user interaction design of an innovative, consumer-facing financial advisory web service. Technical Requirements: * Significant development experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS/XML (AJAX) * Experience working with Javascript libraries such as Dojo (preferred), YUI or JQuery. * Experience working on cross-browser platforms and the related AJAX issues. * Interest in finance and financial services a plus. * Development experience in Java and particularly Grails/Groovy is a major plus. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics. * Interest in an equity role in the firm. * Able to dedicate at least 30+ hours a week to this project until at least Oct 30. * Willing to get up-to-speed quickly with mentoring and coaching from others on the team.
