This is a long term contract in Miami, with a publicly traded company, who have been established for 20+ years. They are working on a SOA rearchitecture project, and looking for 2 senior level J2EE developers with Grails experience. You MUST be onsite for the duration of the project. Responsibilities:
- Experience of software application development
- Object oriented analysis and design practices
- 5+ yrs years of Java and J2EE experience
- Experience in developing, deploying and supporting web based applications
- Proven track record developing and implementing SOA strategies
- Experience designing large-scale systems, including custom application development, content management systems, and portal development, using standard-based web technologies such as XML, J2EE, and Web Services.
- Business development – responses to RFPs, scoping, presentation skills.
- Able to clearly articulate technology direction and considerations
- Delivery team leadership – requirements gathering, architecture and design, team mentoring, negotiation, conflict resolution.
- Presentation, documentation and writing, articulate, professional demeanor.
- Thought leadership – experience in public speaking (forum, conferences) and writing skills
- B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related degree
