Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer

41st Parameter, Inc. is seeking Software Engineers at all levels to work in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.

We work in small, dynamic teams using test driven development and other Agile methodologies to deliver code to our customers.

You will be responsible for delivering major applications for our customers and -- since this is a startup -- whatever else needs to be done!
This position requires the following skills/experience:

* Strong foundational knowledge of computer science
* Expertise in Java; ideally Groovy, Grails and JavaScript
* Development experience with large-scale web applications
* Familiarity and affinity for test driven development and continuous integration
* Familiarity and affinity for Lean/Agile methodologies

The following skills/experience is desired:

* Experience with SQL on Oracle and/or MSSQL
* Experience with alternate JVM languages
* Experience with Maven, Ant and/or Ivy and understanding the differences (pros/cons of each)
* Experience architecting or contributing to one or more open source projects
* Experience architecting large-scale web applications
