I'm looking for a very competent designer/developer to help me polish and complete the presentation layer of a large and complex consumer oriented e-commerce site. The site is nearing 'alpha' release and many parts of the site are extremely ugly. I am open to using one person for design and another for development so please contact me if you are interested in either role. The ideal person would: * be able to devote significant time to this project almost immediately * experienced with GSP development * experienced with SVN and remote team development * a very good sense of usability and design * experience with Prototype and script.aculo.us is a bonus but not a requirement * able and willing to use good personal judgment, take initiative, and make decisions with minimal input * able to take direction and guidance (and be able to balance this bullet with the previous, potentially conflicting bullet). The bulk of the work for this project can probably be completed in a few weeks. Additional work available in the future if interested.
