JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior-level Groovy/Grails/Java developer for content web site/CMS
Long term contract in central NJ with some travel to NYC + telecommute
Project involves HTML5 website redesign (including mobile development) - 100% Grails backend
Potential to work on iOS/Android projects

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Comfortable working closely with business stakeholders
Passionate about development, crazy about clean code
Experience working on high traffic (millions of views/mo) public-facing web sites
Minimum 1 year hands-on Groovy/Grails development experience
Demonstrated expertise in front-end development - expert level HTML5/CSS
Comfortable working in both Windows and Unix environments
Comfortable working at any level in the development stack, from JavaScript to Oracle
Familiar with working in an agile environment - TDD/CI/DVCS

Design/UX skills +
Mac OS X/iOS experience +
open source work +
experience with developing/deploying apps "in the cloud" +
