Refactr is looking for smart developers who are curious and agile learners regardless of the syntax they are using. We work in small, cross-functional teams (2-4 people) to rapidly develop web and mobile-based applications for our clients and ourselves.

Must be excited about using and learning Groovy/Grails/Javascript.

As a member of the development team you will have the opportunity to contribute in creating and extending projects and projects. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic developer that is a self starter, good communicator, and can bridge the gap between the business need and the technical function.

We develop on macbook pros and deploy our solution on Virtualized Private Servers or on Amazon's EC2 platform. Smart and fun people drinking free beer and working in an agile manner, with groovy and grails, mysql, continuous integration, user stories, distributed version control (git), and anything else we and our clients can dream up.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- We app development experience
- Grails, Groovy Scripting/GSP or equivalent (i.e. Ruby/Rails)
- Good working knowledge of Java/J2EE
- Passion for solving technical problems
- Good working knowledge of Hibernate & Spring frameworks
- Source version control (Git)
- Good written and verbal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team
- Able to work independently in a complex, dynamic environment
- Must love agile development environment

While we're ideally looking for full-time employees, we are also open to contractors.
