Our client is looking for a Grails/MVC Developer for a permanent position, although they would be open to contracting/contract to hire. They would like this person to come in and build a focus in Grails/GORM and MVC patterned development. This position will be starting a new code base, developing a set of financially focused web applications and would be a lead for a small engineering team to design, develop and test new technologies to drive their business.

Requirements for this role is a background in modern JVM based software and development tools, methodologies, and designs. Key specifics include:

* 5 years and projects completed in the Grails framework.
* Technical/project lead (3-5 years)
* Experience working with a CMS system such as Typo3
* MVC Framework and Object Oriented Development (4 years)
* Java Spring, Hibernate, JEE 5 (3-4 years)
* Web design including JS, HTML, CSS, JQuery, GWT, etc (3-5 years)
* Agile/XP/TDD Development background (2 years)
* Database development - SQP, Stored Procedures, Data Architecture (2-3 years)
* SQL Server (1 year)
