Position: Sr Linux Kernel Architect
Location: Austin TX
Salary: 145k – 170k
Candidate will be strong with Linux Kernel and hardware issues, as well as the architecture, implementation, performance tuning.
10+ to 15 years of experience
Experience working closely with a team of SW Engineers: will analyze, validate, correct, plan and map out proper Linux Kernel SW Development Processes and Procedures.
Should Have Advanced knowledge and experience in areas such as KLM, Device Drivers, File Systems, distribution of kernels and other related areas of Linux Red Hat and Suse internals.
Knowledge of virtualization or Para virtualization
Analyze and implement tradeoffs between the processor architecture, hyper visor, and the Linux kernel
Work closely with processor architects to evaluate new processor features
