Our company is looking for a developer or development house located within the Chicago area to undertake building a Grails based web application from the ground up. This will be the second iteration of our web application, the first being built with technologies that have been discontinued. No legacy code will be used, relieving the burden of retrofitting old technologies and allowing the developer to concentrate on building a new application. We have a roadmap of features we would like to see implemented following an agile development scheme.

An eligible candidate should possess 3+ years work experience as a Java developer with a background in these technologies:
Groovy, Grails, SQL, Vaadin, Ant, Tomcat, Glassfish.. Maybe Hibernate, Spring.

A portfolio of completed java web applications is a plus.

Web Services experience and Objective C also a big plus.
