GWAVA Inc., A worldwide leader in messaging and collaboration security and management, is looking for an experienced Java Web Developer for its Montreal office.

The ideal candidate meets all of the following requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English

- Client side Javascript, AJAX, CSS, and Web 2.0 toolkit experience (jQuery)

- Solid understanding of Java/JSP
- Grails/Groovy experience preferred

- Experience with enterprise application development, testing, and versioning

- Diligent worker in both team and autonomous environments

- Understanding of database driven applications
- Available to work full time in Montreal, QC

Key responsibilities:

- Contribute to development and maintenance of software products deployed in production enterprise environments
- Contribute to design and architecture of applications
- Implement product specifications including all front-end and view/controller programming
- Influence graphical design and layout of web user interfaces
- Continued maintenance and updates of new and existing code

- Design and develop proof of concepts for emerging technologies
