Are you an accomplished web developer versed in Javascript, CSS, XHTML and modern scripting languages? Do you love creating killer UI's?




EngageSciences is looking for a talented web developer to join our team and help us build a new cloud-based service. You'll get to work with the latest technologies and frameworks like jQuery, Flex and Grails; with cloud-based services such as Amazon EC2; and with social networks like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. You'll take on a key role within our development team being responsible for implementing the presentation tier of our cloud-based service delivering a user interface that is both a breeze to use and a joy to behold.




We think the following skills are key to the role:

• 5+ years building out web front-ends


• Deep experience of Javascript, ideally using jQuery and/or ExtJS


• Good understanding of XHTML and CSS, and an understanding of the pain of testing on multiple browsers


• Experience working in scripting languages to build out views such as JSP, JSTL, PHP.


• We are light on process and focused on results, but you should be comfortable working in a lightweight agile process


• Experience or knowledge of view-templating languages like Velocity or GSP


• Experience working with Grails is a major plus


• Not afraid to do some basic work in photoshop or illustrator, if required is a plus
